Browse over 10,000 square feet of vintage collectibles

Browse over 10,000 square feet of vintage collectibles and furniture where every corner holds the promise of discovering another exciting, special item. Owner, Robert Hamilton tells us he and his family specialize in early 19th century antiques such as glass, dishes, silverware, books, and art. Antique styles include Early American, Colonial, Pennsylvania Dutch, Federal, Sheraton, American Empire, Shaker, Victorian, Arts & Crafts, Art nouveau, Traditional revival, and Modern/Post-modern.

Most of the antiques and collectibles are locally sourced

Whether it’s an antique table, an antique curio cabinet or chest, or an interesting antique chair, you will love the carefully chosen selection. Robert says, “Period furniture is a specialty at our store. You will discover chairs, end tables, curious, cabinets, and more!  We also carry a wide selection of oriental rugs.” Most of the antiques and collectibles are locally sourced and each piece holds memories from the home it once lived in. As avid antique collectors, Robert and his family love for these pieces to go to homes that “love them” as much as they do.

Now in their 30th year, the family has developed a reputation as a knowledgeable and reputable antique dealer serving customers all over the country.

Newlyweds Mary Jane Hamilton and Robert Little opened Robert’s Antiques in 1990. Their son Robert now owns the store and he shares the backstory “Soon after getting married, they decided to have a garage sale.  Mary Jane had grown up around antiques and my father was a master carpenter and could refinish any type of furniture that existed. They decided to open the store so that they wouldn’t have to put my sister and I in daycare.  In fact, the original store began where the Wild Bean Coffee Shop is located across the street. They rented that space and when they could afford it, they bought the shop across the street which has housed our business for the last 18 years.” Now in their 30th year, the family has developed a reputation as a knowledgeable and reputable antique dealer serving customers all over the country.

From a Cabernet to an IPA and everything in between

Robert goes onto mention the plentiful spirits, “From a Cabernet to an IPA and everything in between, let us share our appreciation of fine wines and upscale beer.  Our selection is the region’s finest.” Bonus: If you don’t see what you are looking for you, tell them and they will find it for you.

The family’s interest in good wine inspired them to devote a large area of the shop to a carefully curated collection of over 800 labels. They invite you to explore vintage wines from France, Spain, Italy, California, the Oregon Coast, and local West Virginia vintners.

They also like to share their appreciation of upscale beer that will satisfy you through the winter months. There’s a wide selection of Indian Pale Ales (IPA), refreshing Lagers, Bavarian Dunkles, full-bodied Stout, crisp Pilsners, and easy to drink Pale Ales. You can also pick up Hawk Knob’s newly released Bitter Winter!
