To be humble
Doesn’t mean to play small
To be authentic
Doesn’t mean to play mean
Or to play nice
It means to
Bring your best self
To the party of life
Ready to respond from the heart
With the highest
Most honest
Intention

You can find in the moment
Your humble
Sacrifices
Are only uplifting
When paired with
Fearless
Authenticity;
Anything less will
Possibly bring you recognition
perhaps fleeting approval

But will never bring you
Face to face with your inner light.

So this is one of those things I ask for “more of” during meditation/prayer. I give these words to myself as they are given to me to share with you. Like the ocean wave I go out and there you are then I return to my own depths but there really is no separation only ebb and flow never-ending rhythm that we can fight or embrace. When choosing to embrace the key is in my hands.
