International Beer Day is a global celebration of beer, taking place in restaurants, pubs, breweries, and backyards all over the world. It’s a day for beer lovers everywhere to raise a toast to our brewers and bartenders and rejoice in the greatness of beer. Landing’s Restaurant in Lewisburg invites you to celebrate the occasion on their patio, overlooking Greenbrier Valley Airport’s runway. On Friday, August 3rd, from 7-10pm, the beer will flow, paired with delectable foods, and live music with Doc Northern and the Keeney Mountain Bluegrass Boys.
Each year, this event takes place on the first Friday in August and celebrated in over 200 cities globally.
There are three purposes of IBD:
- Gather with friends and enjoy the deliciousness that is beer
- Celebrate the dedicated men and women who brew and serve our beer, such as local favorite, Greenbrier Valley Brewing Company.
- Bring the world together by celebrating the beers of all nations and cultures on this one remarkable day.
