Allowing the washing away of misaligned intentions
Embracing what will remain
After the thaw
Of our hearts
So constantly beating
In hope of potential …
Remembers that some seeds
Do not wish to reach
Towards the light;
And an old oak falls
So that the calling of a beautiful future
can have an opportunity to grow;
May the echo of that fall
Leave our ears someday soon;
