In the Valley: Back to School… Back to Spa!

It’s no secret that many of us are stressed when it’s back to school time. From difficult homework to stricter bedtimes, there are a variety of stressors that plague both kids and parents alike. But when it comes to unwinding, Cartier Raine Lifestyle Spa in Lewisburg can help you with their affordable spa treatments. Tucked away behind Ruby Tuesday on Rt 219, this small, intimate spa focuses primarily on full-body pampering without breaking the bank. Several different massages and services are available as well as “back to school” spa specials.

Spa owner, Rochelle Sanchez, tells us the spa does everything except hair. She and her team focus on massage, facials, Reiki Healing, lash extensions, brow and lash tinting, face & body waxing (Brazilian), manicures, pedicures, spray tanning, and advanced skincare treatments. Rochelle says, “We stay current with what’s happening in the beauty and wellness industry worldwide so that we can continue to lead the way for other salons and spas in this region. Most recently we have added Semi permanent mascara (doesn’t smudge or run), customized contouring spray tan (face & body contouring), Reiki Healing sessions, and CND 2 step gel manicures (gets you in and out faster).”

Rochelle graduated massage school in 2003, with the intention of having her own spa. She tells us, “I attended one of the top massage schools in the country. We were taught 14 different types of massage techniques, as well as professional development. I very quickly realized that I needed more than just the best education, I needed experience, in order to really get clear on just what type of spa I wanted to create. I worked in a variety of settings and positions, I worked in small mom and pop spas, medical clinics and big corporate spas, and I was a Spa Supervisor and an Education Director. I used all of that experience to help create Cartier Raine Lifestyle Spa.”

Rochelle’s spa is the vision she always had.  It is a place where people visit for beauty and wellness services. She tells us, “They feel loved, cared for, and beautiful. Clients are impacted in such a way that the quality of their life would be improved because of the experience they had.”

Practicing massage therapy for over 15 years, Rochelle shares the health benefits with us saying, “It boosts your immune system and aids in the removal of toxins (decreasing your risk for certain diseases and disorders), decreases cortisol (main stress hormone that controls your mood and motivation), reduces anxiety, alleviates pain, helps with insomnia, decreases inflammation in the body (arthritis, autoimmune disorders, headaches, joint pain), helps to balance glucose levels and blood pressure, stimulates circulation (improves skin complexion) Oh, and did I mention, it feels A-A-A-MAZING!”

Treat yourself to a Lewisburg staycation and book a session or two throughout the Fall/Winter season. The spa’s Back to School specials are: the New Client Special allowing new clients to receive a spa treatment for 20% off of the first treatment; Massage Monday: $10 off a Signature Massage; Tan Tuesday: $25 spray tans; Wax Wednesday: 10% off all wax services.

Booking an appointment is easy. You can book from Google, with a Gmail account. There is also an app you can download, which allows you to check all of the staff’s availability, book your appts, confirm and track your reward points. Clients who use the app absolutely love it. The spa is also on Facebook and Instagram so you can always message them there. The spa also accepts walk-ins.
