Come enjoy an evening of music with hometown favorite Xander Hitzig at Hawk Knob Hard Cider & Mead in Lewisburg. Almost solely self-taught,  Xander plays fiddle, guitar, and tenor banjo; using the music of his inspirations as his guide.

He’ll make you move and sing along to words you don’t know yet, and perhaps even inspire you to give it all up and move to the mountains of West Virginia, in search of the life that Xander Hitzig’s music can’t help but emanate. Xander has been touring across the U.S. for the past ten years with multiple bands, most notably the BrownChicken BrownCow Stringband and the Hitzig Brothers, and has recently been producing music from his own solo endeavors.

The Hitzig Brothers are also excited to announce their upcoming show at the Irish Pub on Washington St. in downtown Lewisburg on Sunday, July 1st. 5:00pm – 7:30pm. $10 cover at the door.

Hawk Knob Appalachian Hard Cider & Mead is proud to be West Virginia’s first cidery and to be offering dry aged meads and traditional dry ciders. They are located just a few minutes from downtown Lewisburg at 2245 Blue Sulphur Pike.
