It will be a spicy time when hops and heat collide at Greenbrier Valley Brewing Company’s first annual Chili Cook-Off, held Saturday, January 16th from 6pm-9pm. Admission is free and several local residents, restaurants, and businesses will be vying for a chance to be crowned 2016 Chili Champ/Best of Show, which will be determined by local chefs. There will also be 3 Peoples’ Choice Awards. If you plan to compete, be sure to bring your chili in a crock-pot and bring your own ladle to serve with. The brewery will provide all other supplies. Your favorite GV Brewing Co beers will also be on draft to help keep the heat in check. Also competing in the chili cook-off is the brewing company and you may find one of your favorite drafts in their recipe! So cook and compete or just come to eat. This will be a fun winter event for all.
