Exciting Schedule Highlights Await Attendees
White Sulphur Springs is buzzing with anticipation as the WV Dandelion Festival returns for a vibrant weekend of art, music, and family-friendly fun. From May 22nd to May 24th, attendees can enjoy a wide variety of events designed to bring people together and celebrate the spirit of the season.
Festival organizers emphasize that many of the weekend’s most popular attractions are free and open to the public. The Children’s Fishing Derby is a FREE event, and the Kids Zone play area, offering inflatables and family-friendly activities, is also FREE. In addition, all concerts throughout the weekend are outdoors and FREE, making it easy for attendees of all ages to enjoy live music and entertainment without cost.
Friday, May 22nd
Kick off the weekend with an evening of culture and entertainment:
Art Show & Wine/ Cheese: 6-8 PM at the WSS Library. Enjoy art accompanied by music from Leah Trent. (tickets available at the door)
Dinner & Live Music: 7-9 PM at Butler Hall, St. Thomas, featuring Ryan Cain & The Ables. (tickets available online and at the door)
Saturday, May 23rd
A full day of activities offers something for all ages:
Dream Chaser 5K: Start your morning with a run at 7:30 AM on the Schoolhouse Hotel Lawn.
Children’s Fishing Derby: 8:30 AM at WSS National Fish Hatchery.
Walkin’ & Talkin’ like a Chicken Contest: 9:30 AM at the Hatchery Amphitheater with prizes on the line.
Food Vendors: Available from 10 AM on Main Street.
Kids Zone: Inflatables and activities from 10 AM till dusk at Old Mill Park. FREE
Art Show: Open to the public at 11 AM in the WSS Library.
Live Music: Multiple performances including Jesse Milnes & Emily Miller at 1 PM, and Aristotle Jones at 5:30 PM on the Main Stage.
Cruize In: 2:30-5 PM on Main Street.
RC Races: 3:30 PM on Scott Lane.
Dandy Legs Contest: 7 PM on the Main Stage.
Evening Concert: Enjoy Corduroy Brown at 7:30 PM on the Main Stage.
Sunday, May 24th
Close out the weekend with community and celebration:
Community Worship: 11 AM to 12 PM.
Veteran’s Memorial Service & Reception: 12-12:30 PM.
Food Vendors: Available from 12 PM.
Kids Zone: Continues from 12-4 PM. FREE
Gospel Sing: Live music from 2-3:30 PM on the Main Stage.
Parade: Line up at 4 PM, with the parade starting at 5 PM.
