Ronceverte River Festival Returns June 12–13 with live music, duck race, fireworks, and family fun

Set in scenic Island Park along the banks of the beautiful Greenbrier River, the annual Ronceverte River Festival returns June 12–13 for a weekend packed with entertainment, community traditions, food, music, and activities for all ages.

The two-day festival kicks off Friday evening and continues throughout Saturday with a full lineup of family-friendly attractions, including live musical performances, food and craft vendors, games, inflatables, a pet parade, car show, fireworks display, and the beloved Great Rubber Ducky Race.

Headlining this year’s entertainment is Jake Hoot, winner of Season 17 of The Voice, joined by special guest Brett Mahon, a Monroe County native. Festivalgoers can also enjoy local favorites including the annual parade, Ducky Idol competition, 3×3 basketball tournament, duck pond, goldfish game, dime toss, and more.

One of the festival’s signature events, the Great Rubber Ducky Race, will take place Saturday, June 13 at 4 p.m. Thousands of rubber ducks will race down the Greenbrier River for a chance to win cash prizes and other awards.

The Duck Race features:

Grand Prize: $5,000 cash

Second Place: $2,500 cash

Third Place: $1,000 cash

Additional Prizes: 51 more winning tickets featuring trips for two, cash prizes, and gift certificates

Duck race tickets are $5 each and may be purchased online or at participating businesses throughout the region. Participants do not need to be present to win.
