Next time you’re in downtown Lewisburg, check out Vintage Soul, located inside Patina in downtown Lewisburg. This independent booth offers handmade jewelry, goat milk soap, antiques, and high-quality clothing at affordable prices. Patina is an antique and vintage décor boutique located between Greenbrier Valley Theatre and the Wild Bean. It’s filled with treasures just waiting to be discovered and is perfect for gift-giving this holiday season! The shop currently has 25 vendors offering cool vintage stuff, pottery, fabric arts, jewelry, and so much more at affordable prices.
Vintage Soul has jewelry, handmade soaps, clothing, and more!
Beth Morefield is the owner of Vintage Soul and she tells us she started her journey restoring antique furniture in her garage. With increased success and demand, she set up an antique booth at Hickory Tree Antique Mall in Beckley in 2016 and offered a mixture of antiques and reproduction. She later added boutique clothes. Beth says she has always loved Lewisburg and was excited to expand into Patina earlier this year.
Vintage Soul’s Patina booth has handmade jewelry including vintage repurposed spoon jewelry, local goat milk soap made by her, antiques and reproduction pieces along with boutique clothing. Beth’s goat milk soap is from her 34-acre farm Bluestone Hill Farms located in Jumping Branch WV. Her handmade jewelry is a mixture of old authentic pieces mixed in to give it that rustic vintage feel and look. She also handpicks her boutique clothes from market.
Beth has recently thought to expand in the next year, saying it’s “only in hopes to reach women with the gospel and make sure they know who they are and who they belong to. Even on the bad days girls…. adjust your crown.” Her future plans are to open one more booth in Virginia and a brick and mortar boutique with vintage goods in Beckley. Some local art at Patina this holiday season are pottery by Tracy Walker with To Live Well Pottery; jewelry by Cathy Bolt with Kitchen Creek Jewelry in Blue Sulphur Springs; handcrafted fabric arts by Marilyn Barton; and Fraktur art by Donna Farlow.
