Greenbrier Valley Brewing Co’s lead brewer is Dave Barron. Amid the constant production of the brewery’s many flagships, “Irish” Dave keeps the offerings fresh and creative with limited-run beers. His latest and greatest creation is Irish Dave’s Maple Bourbon Porter. With this beer he wanted to step out of the box and make something that was more West Virginian. Daniel’s Maple Syrup sugarmaker had one key component to this experiment and Smooth Ambler Spirits’ Distillery had the other.
Irish Dave’s Maple Bourbon Porter is made with West Virginian Maple Syrup and meticulously aged in 13 year old bourbon barrels. This beer is RARE and ELUSIVE. Treat yourself to this showcase of West Virginian fellowship while supplies last. It is rich & full bodied with notes of Toffee, chocolate and caramel. Maple, tobacco surround this beer.
