Greenbrier Valley Chorale Spring Concert Cancelled
On Sunday, March 29, 3pm. the Greenbrier Valley Chorale returns to Carnegie Hall in Lewisburg for their annual spring concert.
The concert is built around the theme Singing of World Peace. This theme, along with musical expressions of love, joy and hope will be explored in a variety of styles. These range from the poetic (Robert Burns’ “Oh My Luve’s Like a Red, Red Rose”) to the silly (“Always Look on the Bright Side of Life” from Spamalot).
With music composed by everyone from Broadway legend Jerry Herman to Dolly Parton, the program is a showcase for the Chorale’s versatility and the talents of several members who will be featured as soloists. The 50-member choir is comprised of singers from across the Greenbrier Valley and beyond. It is directed by Barbara Wygal Lutz and accompanied by Teresa Bryant.
Carnegie Hall is located at 611 Church St. in Lewisburg. Tickets can be purchased in advance from Carnegie Hall and will be available at the door on the day of the concert. For more information, visit greenbriervalleychorale.org
