The West Virginia Winter Music Festival takes place in downtown Lewisburg on Saturday, January 28th, with 40 acts in 8 venues.
Many extremely talented veteran players of the Festival will be returning from 7 counties across southern West Virginia and into Virginia to support the cause, and we’ll see a few new surprises, as well, with the highly anticipated reunion of Fat Headed Monster and Philip (Steel Pterodactyl) McLaughlin’s assembling of an exciting round up of players known, this year, as The Instigatorz.

The All Ages venue will move to Lewisburg’s teen center, The Hub and the Songwriter Stage will move to the Greenbrier Valley Visitors Center.
The other 5 venues: The Asylum, Hill and Holler, The Irish Pub, the Lewis Theater and The Sweet Shoppe will have the variety of acts that have become a trademark for the Festival.
Admission to all venues is just $20 per attendee. Admission to The Hub only is just $5. Advance tickets can be bought at HASHTAGWV.COM/TICKETS and at any venue door with cash only on the day of the Festival. Music starts at 6pm. West Virginia Winter Music Festival Inc is a 501c3 non profit organization with it’s main mission dedicated to building a musicians emergency fund to assist musicians in unexpected times of need. Since it’s inception, the Festival’s fund has contributed approximately $15,000 to ALS Research at Duke University and local musicians affected by hardships, health issues and the recent flooding. The overwhelming support of the community has made this possible.

HASHTAGWV ART & ENTERTAINMENT Publisher/Editor-in-Chief, Christina Entenmann-Edwards has been a WV resident since September 2008. She was born and raised in Fairfield County, Connecticut, and is no stranger to hard work and the entrepreneurial spirit. In 2006, she graduated from Quinnipiac University (Hamden, Connecticut), Cum Laude, with a B.A. in History. In 2010, she graduated with an M.B.A. from Liberty University (Lynchburg, Virginia). In February 2012, Christina launched HashtagWV as the area’s first full-color, free arts and entertainment tabloid + online platform. Christina completed the Leadership West Virginia class of 2021, which is an innovative program that grows, engages, and mobilizes leaders to ignite a life passion to move West Virginia forward.
