An Amazing Lineup for Tamarack’s 2022 Courtyard Concert Series!

Tamarack Marketplace in Beckley (Raleigh County) has announced the lineup for its upcoming Courtyard Concerts Series held monthly, 12p-3pm from May through September. Bands include The Boatmen, Parachute Brigade, Carpenter Ants, Lords of Lester, and 3Chill! BONUS: All shows are FREE!

These concert performances will be featured in the outdoor courtyard, which can be found in the center of the building. 

While you’re there, check out the hundreds of West Virginia artisans exhibited throughout the iconic building.

The Boatmen never disappoint as they deliver harmony-based rock that makes you move! This is a close group of friends from the heart of the two Virginias. With diverse influences and the right blend of soaring harmony over top of moonshine anthems, they have created a niche all their own. Fueled by the phenomenal talents of lead multi-instrumentalist Randy Gilkey; percussionist Robert Gross; and the elite songwriting duo of Matt Mullins and Nick Durm.

They describe their genre as “chicken-fried gospel soul.” and deliver lots of feel-good harmonies and a solid groove. They have been together for nearly 35 years and have played throughout the south Atlantic region, twice toured in Moscow, and joined the rev. Jesse Jackson for a 10-city tour.
