It’s Christmas Time Again w/ The Virginia Opry!

 

On Saturday, December 11, don’t miss the “Country Christmas Show” featuring Nashville recording artist, Keith Bryant at the Historic Masonic Theatre in Clifton Forge, 7pm.

Crimson River, a five-piece Christian country band based in the Alleghany Highlands, will open the show with Glen Shelton, a vocalist and award-winning songwriter from Madison Heights, serving as emcee.

On Sunday, Dec 11, the Virginia Opry presents “Stars are Shining Brightly” at 3pm at Good News Church located at 214 S. Lexington Ave. Covington, VA.

Tuesday, December 21, it’s Christmas w/ Charles Billingsley at Natural Bridge, 7pm in Virginia! Opening acts are Gentlemen South and Glen Shelton Duo.

Launching his career nearly three decades ago as a lead vocalist for GRAMMY®-nominated genre giants NewSong, Charles has since headlined more than 3,200 concerts, released 23 recordings as a solo artist and garnered seven #1 Inspirational radio hits. He serves as the worship leader for such popular events as Women of Joy, Gridiron Men’s Conference and Celebrators Conference, and is the author of Words on Worship: Devotions of Praise (Worthy Inspired). Additionally, Charles is a teaching pastor at the 8,000- member Thomas Road Baptist Church in Lynchburg, Virginia, preaching once a month and also leading worship monthly. And, he’s an adjunct professor at Liberty University’s Center for Music & Worship, a specialized training program he helped found more than a decade ago.

Ray Allen with the Virginia Opry shares that “Last year due to the pandemic, The Virginia Opry was limited to performing only two shows, but by the end of this year performing as Virginia’s official Opry, we will have completed four to get back to our quarterly performance schedule that we hope to double in 2022.”
