ADOPT ME: BABY & HAILEY NEED HOMES!

Reason #1 to adopt a pet: Many of the pets from shelters and rescues are already housetrained, which means you’re not only saving a pet’s life, you may be saving your rug. Adopting a mature pet not only gives older animals a second chance, it often means introducing them to your family will be much easier. Baby (Monroe County Animal Leage) and Hailey (Greenbrier Humane Society) need homes. Learn more about them below. #adoptdontshop

Baby (right) is a female Bengal cat with big, beautiful aquamarine eyes. She arrived to the Monroe County Animal League with front paws declawed and 10-12 years old. Baby has recently been diagnosed with diabetes and requires twice daily insulin injections. She is taking it all in stride and has yet to show her true age! She has lots of personality, enjoys attention, has a big purr and loves to talk to you. She is happiest being the only cat in the family and is learning to tolerate dogs. We are hoping that Baby can find a home where she will be well cared for and where she can spend her “golden” years being loved and giving her love right back. If interested, leave a message on our hotline at 304-773-4445 or email them at mcalwv@hotmail.com.

Hailey (dog on the left) would like the chance to be your best friend…she is not he “life of the party” but is looking for a quiet companion to walk with, ride in the car with and spend some quality time. She would like a calm friend without too many distractions and someone who would enjoy a walk in the park or in a neighborhood with her. She has promised to be a devoted and intelligent companion who will offer her loyalty, affection and respect. For more information, please contact Janine Lazarus at 304 667 2580.
