On Saturday, April 8th, at 8pm, Hill and Holler in downtown Lewisburg presents The Change, and all female funk band from Princeton WV.  Bandmembers include: Kayla Mckinney, Aryan Graham, Jedah Palmer, and Caeli Massey. Their inspiration stems from a desire to create “change” in the world with their music; wanting to help others, continue recording music with a positive, inspirational message, and tour with The One Voice Project Anti-Bullying Tour. These young women are also representatives for the national organization “Free2Luv,” a non-profit organization with a mission to enlighten, empower and engage youth to celebrate their uniqueness. This is a free show. All tips and donations will help fund the artists as they embark on an anti-bullying tour this Spring. They will be spreading a message of kindness, hope, and equality.

This benefit show is intended to raise awareness for the One Voice Project and to accept donations of their upcoming tour of Horry and Georgetown County, South Carolina schools commencing April 14. The Project will hold 2 workshops each day in schools and then perform in venues at night such as The House Of Blues in Myrtle Beach.

The opening band is the One Voice Project band, which featuring musicians and singers form Princeton, Beckley, Tazewell and Lewisburg: Sam Snyder, Noah Spencer, Jacob Brooks, Abbi Belcher, Bethany Keesecker, Livi Martin, Regan Cochran, and Trevor Darago. The One Voice Project is an organization providing kids, teens, and young adults with opportunities to make a difference in the world through music. This multi-faceted program offers performance opportunities, training, and education programs along with a serious concentration in civic involvement. Young artists participate in weekly workshops and help organize, promote, and participate in concerts to raise money for charities locally and regionally.
