On Friday, September 26th, Michael Franti & Spearhead performed to an energetic audience at Snowshoe Resort’s FreeFall Festival.
Michael Franti is the creator and lead vocalist of the band. He’s also a humanitarian and regularly speaks out about social justice issues and did just that during his show. The crowd and Franti unified under the stars to support peace and love around the world.
Everyone danced the night away (including Franti) to the sounds of hip hop blended with elements of reggae, rock, and funk. During the show, Franti invited the children in the audience to join him on stage. These kids were, without a doubt, having the time of their lives as Franti encouraged them to entertain alongside him. There was dancing, singing, and even some head-banging. It was simply adorable.
