Each year 50 East Casual Dining & Spirits, in downtown White Sulphur Springs, holds a benefit for the Main Street and it’s called the Jack Daniels BBQ Fundraiser. This is a family friendly event held outside at the courtyard behind 50 East. Starting at 6pm on Saturday, July 20th, we are all invited to enjoy great food, drinks, and live music.Your attendance is highly valued because not only will you have a great time partying with your friends, but you’ll also be investing back into our community! All proceeds from this event go to the Beautification Projects for Main Street White Sulphur Springs.
“Not only is this event a fundraiser, but it has become a community fellowship night where everyone gets together for the desired benefit to make White Sulphur Springs better,” – Sadie Fraley, 50 East manager.
The cost to attend is $20 per person and $10 for children 10 and under. Admission includes live entertainment, a BBQ meal, and soft drinks with your meal.
In a show of community spirit, 50 East will provide all food. The Mason Jar is smoking the pork and Gillespie’s Flowers is providing the tent, tables, chairs, decor and lighting. There will be a cash bar for Jack Daniels Malt drinks and Keg Beer.
Live music starts at 6pm with The Jarmovers. They will keep you dancing with their party-down, boogie blues, soul, and rock n’ roll sound.
From 9pm-midnight, pop-rock band Majestic 12, from Beckley, will keep you entertained with their creative style and self-written music. Their influences are Staind, Audioslave, Alice In Chains, Atomship/Watership Down, Derek Pardoe, John Mayer, Dave Matthews Band, Blue October, and many more. For more info on Majestic 12, visit: m12official.com. All of their music streams on the site.
“It’s truly a great experience to support this cause through our music. 50 East has given us much support and we jumped at the call to perform at this very important fundraiser to beautify White Sulphur Springs!” – Majestic 12
The Jack Daniels BBQ is held annually in July and it coincides with Main Street White Sulphur Spring’s (MSWSS) Annual Sponsorship Campaign. All funds received on this night will go towards one or many of MSWSS Projects such as the Howard’s Creek Hike / Bike Trail; the Welcome Signage Campaign; Beautification Downtown, and more. We at LBSPY fully support the MSWSS and all of their community-based efforts. They are an organization run by highly committed people and their mission is simple yet dedicated, which is to revitalize and economically renew White Sulphur Springs.
Don’t miss out on this great event. We’ll not only have a great time, but our attendance is highly appreciated. See you there!
