We thank you for your support in our first year in print and online. We have seen this paper grow and develop to take on a life of its own. We continuously tweak this publication to serve your needs better and have re-done the LBSPY website 3 times since our launch last February, 2012.

If you have or represent a business, you don’t want to miss this event. We’ll be giving away the back cover of LBSPY!!!

From Snowshoe Village to Alderson & Tamarak in Beckley to Clifton Forge, Virginia, our distribution of 5,000 (every 2 weeks) is going strong. Also, our online presence is developing into a very useful resource for both locals and tourists. Right now, our visitor traffic at lbspy.com is exceeding more than 10,000 visitors a month.

Our staff of contributing writers are an invaluable asset to the success of this paper. Without them, LBSPY wouldn’t be worth picking up during a West Virginia snow storm, if at all. Jim Shock’s “Wisdom from the Woods” opens our eyes to the beauty of West Virginia and lets us to reflect on what we value in life ; Tiffany Blair’s “A Woman, A Story, & A Life in Between” offers amusement and something we can relate to ; Craig Miller’s “Mountain Scene” informs us of local happenings in a clear and descriptive way ; Leah Deitz’s music reviews and event write-ups help us plan our weekends, Jim Warner’s “Modern Riddlers” is a clever addition that keeps us thinking, and lastly (certainly not least), my close friend and inspiration to start project LBSPY, Susanna Robinson-Kenga. Susanna has helped this paper tremendously with her ear for music, spiritually connected reviews of musicians with “Sound of the Town” and write ups on events, such as Lewisburg’s MLK Parade (the largest in WV). We also thank contributing writers: Gillian McGinn, Allan D. Sizemore, Tommy Wiggins, Russ Detko, Mariann Hefner, Russell Fallstad, Ian Lutz, Julian Levine, Ronee Renee, and Mike Costello. We are now welcoming Michelle Evans to the team.

Thanks everyone for your continued support of project LBSPY. We hope to see you Mind your Business with us February 24th! For questions, contact us at info@lbspy.com.
