Kids grow fast. Buy Gently Worn Brand Name Kids’ Clothes at The Darling Exchange.

Have you heard about The Darling Exchange?! It’s Lewisburg’s cutest boutique for children. Open since March 20th ‘12, this attractive shop offers our community with barely worn brand name children’s clothing at very reasonable prices. You’ll find boys/girls clothing and trendy gifts and accessories, including locally handcrafted fabric flower headbands. Located on Lafayette Street in downtown Lewisburg, near Cooper Gallery and First National Bank, the Darling Exchange is something special and needed in our area.

Owners Kaitlin Adkins and her mother, Shari understand that you want the best for your family, including: quality and value. They are making a career of incorporating the unique idea of buying/selling gently worn kids clothing into our community, and you get paid on the spot. You can rest assured that the clothing you find there is clean and pressed.

Their favorite brands include: Hanna Anderson, Carters, Crocs, Gap, the North Face, Patagonia, Abercrombie, Carters, Children’s Place, Gymboree, Osh Kosh b’gosh, Cornelloki, Janie and Jack, and Zyno.

If you have clothes and/or shoes to sell, the Darling Exchange is buying them! “Anyone can buy, sell, or swap at The Darling Exchange!” – Kaitlin Adkins, owner. Drop-off anytime during open hours. All boy/girl styles and sizes infant, child and junior, in nice condition, are welcome. Including (and not limited to) jeans, pants, jackets, sweaters, seasonal garments, school uniform wear, dresses, shoes, and boots. Processing may take up to one week and they ask that garments are stain/spot free, clean, and in good condition.

My son and I love shopping for school fashions at the Darling Exchange! With such great prices, we make sure he heads to school wearing the latest looks. – Heather K.

The Darling Exchange will be fundraising for local schools and churches. Instead of consignment earnings being paid directly to consignee, earned percentages of each garment sold can be paid to their school of choice (private, public, church, daycare center, etc.). Consignees may donate only cash earned from specific items (uniform clothing only) or on all garments (play clothes, every article of clothing). “We are looking forward for every opportunity to be involved and supportive of our community,” Kait Adkins.

Jeans. Sweaters. And coats. Oh my! … Fall will be among us soon. Start a child’s Back to School wardrobe at The Darling Exchange.
