Wisdom from the Woods – Life lessons learned from being around Spiteful People.
When you run across a rotten egg, you appreciate the good ones in the carton. Same is true of people. While West Virginians have a tremendous capacity to care for their neighbors, a few have a greater gift for chaos than compassion. I’ve never cared what scandalmongers think of me. I’m pretty dang certain they don’t want to know what I think of them. It’s one thing to have a personal grudge against someone; it’s another to create a family feud. It’s the stuff of legend here… but legends always begin as lies. I don’t believe anything I don’t hear with my heart. You shouldn’t either. Sometimes mean folks are too cracked and scrambled to fix. I say the heck with Humpty Dumpty attitudes. Cheers to the good eggs!
