Bluegrass fans from across the region are invited to gather at the Island Park Amphitheater in Ronceverte for the Skyline Bluegrass Festival on the River, a special one-day event celebrating the legacy of the original Skyline Bluegrass Festival, which was held from 1976 to 1985 on a mountaintop farm overlooking a river.
Set against the scenic backdrop of the Greenbrier Valley, the festival will feature a full day of live bluegrass performances on both the Main Stage and Side Stage, showcasing a mix of established performers and regional favorites. Organizers hope to honor the rich musical tradition of the historic Skyline Festival while creating a welcoming atmosphere for a new generation of bluegrass enthusiasts.
“We’re excited to bring the spirit of the original Skyline Bluegrass Festival back to life,” organizers said. “This event celebrates the music, community, and traditions that made the festival such a beloved gathering for so many years.”
