The Greenbrier Valley's #1 Source for Food, Music, Shopping, Theatre, and Events!

Letter to the Editor

Dear Readers,

November has quickly arrived, bringing with it cooler weather and a contrast of frosty mornings and warm afternoons as the leaves continue to cover the cold ground with beautiful, vibrant colors. This time of the year, outdoor activities become less accessible, but there are an abundance of exciting indoor events awaiting you this month. This edition, like others, will guide you to a variety of activities to enjoy.

On our front page, we’re thrilled to feature the enchanting event at the Greenbrier Valley Theatre: 176 Keys: An Evening of Dueling Pianos. This show, featuring two renowned pianists, promises to be an unforgettable experience. Additionally, among the music scene, do not miss our Unplugged column spotlighting Jonah Carden, an energetic musician passionate about his craft. Jonah performs a diverse range of genres across our county and beyond, and he will be playing at the Greenbrier Valley Brewing Company on November 10 from 5 to 7 p.m.

As the weather cools, it is the perfect time to indulge in delicious food at local eateries. In our Good Eats column, we highlight the Hillsboro Public House, a beloved local spot that has recently revamped its menu with a Celtic twist, thanks to a new chef. Be sure to check out their mouthwatering offerings and support local talent!

This month, we also feature the Lewisburg Winter Market, hosted by the Lewisburg Farmer’s Market at the Greenbrier Valley Brewing Company, along with many events taking place at Carnegie Hall and exciting stories by Sharon Ginsburg and Patrick Calvert.

I am always eager to share what our county has to offer each month, and as the holiday season approaches, my excitement grows. With Thanksgiving in sight, it is a wonderful time to reflect on our blessings. I am thankful for so many things, one of them being my role as Editor and your dedication to reading Hashtag. I wish you all a happy and safe Thanksgiving and encourage you to take in all your blessings!

Your Editor,

Chelsea
