West Virginia Renaissance Festival Set To Begin This Saturday!

Mermaid Montara will be swimming in the pond at The West Virginia Renaissance Festival – each weekend in June!

Hear ye, hear ye!

Good morrow, Lords and Ladies! We are but five days from the fifth West Virginia Renaissance Festival… the annual celebration which brings the Golden Age of medieval history and fantasy to life in the Greenbrier Valley!

Jousting Knights and Steeds: America’s longest running theatrical jousting show! Shows thrice daily: 12:00 Act I Joust a Plaisance 3:00 Act II Joust of Combat 5:30 Act III Joust to the Death.

Beginning on Saturday, June 4 and continuing every weekend throughout the month, The West Virginia Renaissance Festival doth bringeth family-friendly entertainment, including music, comedy, games, and all sorts of friendly animals!

Ever wished you could ride a unicorn? Care to demonstrate your skill at knife or ax-throwing? Perhaps you’d like to test your wits in the Castle Escape Room or the wooded-maze? Who knows – you may just encounter a woodland fairy along your journey!

For the more valiant among us, the Jousting Knights and Steeds will be performing three shows a day! And if that still isn’t enough to satiate your appetite for thrilling adventure, the three-story Wheel of Death is back this year to provide gravity-defying excitement!

Wheel of Death: The world’s first and only wooden Wheel of Death is an act that is truly revolutionary! Featuring death defying feats three stories up, Ichabod Wainwright will risk his life leaping, flipping, juggling flaming hatchets, and much more for your amusement. Death-defying, daring, dangerous, and dynamic!

And while we’re talking about your appetite, you’ll want to come hungry! From turkey legs, hot dogs, jerk-chicken tacos, pizza and scotch eggs, to chocolate dipped cheesecake and dessert crepes, to cider, soda, beer, wine, mead and cocktails, The West Virginia Renaissance Festival will be serving the best food and drink anywhere in the seven kingdoms!
