If you’re in the mood for something delicious (and who isn’t when the weather turns chilly?), our Good Eats column will have your taste buds doing a happy dance. This month, we’re shining a spotlight on Corn & Flour, a charming bakery in the heart of downtown Lewisburg. Locals rave about their bagels—crispy on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside, with a flavor that can’t be beat. And of course, we couldn’t forget to highlight one of the most anticipated events of the season: the Joy to Lewisburg concert, featuring the incredibly talented Bob Thompson, a pianist inducted into the WV Music Hall of Fame. This concert is the perfect way to get into the holiday spirit, with classic Christmas tunes, heartwarming performances, and some surprise guest appearances. It’s taking place at the beloved Club Carnegie, and trust me, you don’t want to miss it.
