GV Chorale Annual Christmas Concert to Usher in the Holiday Spirit

For music lovers in the Greenbrier Valley, the Greenbrier Valley Chorale’s annual Christmas Concert
is the official start of the holiday season. The Chorale will conclude its 30th anniversary season with a concert of uplifting seasonal music at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 10, at Carnegie Hall in Lewisburg.

The Chorale, comprised of 55 singers from across the Greenbrier Valley and beyond, is known for its
broad-ranging repertoire and high quality performances. Barbara Wygal Lutz is the group’s artistic
director, and Theresa Bryant is the accompanist.

The concert will feature both sacred and secular music in a variety of styles, ranging from a lively
rendition of Leroy Anderson’s Sleigh Ride to a jazz-inspired arrangement of Lo How a Rose ‘er Blooming
accompanied by guest artist Birch Graves on saxophone. The performance also will feature other guest
instrumentalists and soloists.

Tickets are available through the Carnegie Hall box office, (304) 645-7917, or online at
www.greenbriervalleychorale.org.

Birch Graves is one of the guest artists who will perform with the Chorale on Dec. 10.
