37TH Annual Toot Entertainment Announced

Carnegie Hall’s Taste of Our Towns (TOOT) fundraiser has showcased the best culinary treats in the region. The festival, which takes place annually on the second Saturday of October, has grown to be one of the largest and best-known festivals in West Virginia. Thousands of residents and visitors fill the Lewisburg streets to not only enjoy a beautiful fall afternoon full of delicious food, but also to listen to great music, explore exhibits, participate in children’s activities, and much more. The event is fun for the whole family and once again will take place this year on Saturday, October 14 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in downtown Lewisburg.

This year the main stage will be at the intersection of Washington Street and Lafayette Street with a second stage at theIvy Terraceat Carnegie Hall. The main stage will feature musical groups Blue Twisted Steel (11 a.m. – 1 p.m.) and Dark Matters (1 – 3 p.m.) and the Ivy Terrace stage will feature the Greenbrier River Optimistic Ukulele Players (GROUP), John Wyatt, Glorified Dance, Encore School of Dance, and the Greenbrier East High School Spartenettes.

2023 TOOT Street Performers include El Gleno Grande (performing at the intersection of Court Street and Washington Street) and stilt-walker Marcus Fioravante. TOOT will also feature a kid’s zone with face painting and balloon making. More information to come.
