and Patsy Meets Elvis!

Nashville recording artist Keith Bryant will present his one-man show during the Shenandoah Valley Recording Artists event. Glen Shelton will play with his band alongside vocalist Lisa Meadows. Robby Meadows will perform as bass guitarist.

M. Ray Allen, director of The Virginia Opry, says, “Keith, Robby and Lisa are well known vocalists throughout the Shenandoah Valley, and each along with the band members who will be performing have been inducted as members of The Virginia Opry.”

Keith Bryant has had two country music hits that charted on Billboard’s Hot Country Top 50, and he has performed his one-man show up and down the Shenandoah Valley.  He was the first vocalist to be honored as a member of The Virginia Opry by being showcased at The Historic Masonic Theatre in 2019.

“Riding with the Legend,” is a song he co-wrote and recorded. This song vaulted him to national prominence as a Nashville recording artist, resulting in a corporate sponsorship to tour the west coast.  This song is a tribute to former NASCAR driver, Dale Earnhardt, who passed in 2001. This song peaked at number 47 on the Hot Country Songs chart, becoming his first charted single.

Bryant is also the founder of Ironhorse, and he is the winner of the East Coast Country Music Male Vocalist Award.  He has two albums to this credit.

This show is held at the Natural Bridge Historic Hotel’s Washington Hall, located at 15 Appledore Lane in Natural Bridge, Virginia. Tickets for this show are $20 for general admission with first come first serve seating.  Big Country 103.5 at WKEY in Covington is the home of The Virginia Opry as well as the Town of Clifton Forge. Tickets can be reserved online at thevirginiaopry.com or by visiting the Natural Bridge Hotel and Conference Center’s website at naturalbridgeva.com.

Michael Hoover as Elvis

On Saturday, March 26th, don’t miss Patsy Meets Elvis featuring world champion Elvis vocalist and entertainer, Michael Hoover with Denise Glass. After the untimely death of Elvis Presley in 1977, Hoover was inspired to perform “Memories of Elvis” shows as a tribute to the King. “There will never be another Elvis, and I would just like to bring back a few memories of the late King.” He has been performing for over 30 years and has developed into one of the finest male vocalists in the country. The similarity between Elvis and Hoover in voice, mannerisms, and looks is astounding.

Glass began performing as a vocalist in her father’s band as a teenager, and her love for Patsy Cline has led her to perform tributes to Patsy Cline at such venues as the Lee Theatre in Pennington Gap, Virginia. She also tours with Michael Hoover as a vocalist.

The Masonic Theatre is located at 510 Main Street in downtown Clifton Forge. For tickets, call the box office at 540-862-5655 or visit historicmasonictheatre.com
