Sure to be the tastiest throwdown this Spring, head to Hill & Holler for their very first Pre-Memorial Day Crawfish Boil on Sunday, May 30th.

It will encompass all the great things about life along the Gulf Coast including the food, quintessential New Orleans’ cocktails, a Bloody Mary Bar, music, and merriment! This is an all-day event, held from 1-9pm, celebrating Louisiana crawfish along with great entertainment for all ages. This will also afford abundant opportunities for meeting old friends, and making new ones. (Photo credit @jeneemusic_fiddle)

Former Irish Pub owner Andrea Izzo will tell you that in the south, boiling and eating crawfish is a long-standing tradition.

She says, “Who doesn’t want to twist, pinch, and devour piles of mouthwatering crawfish?” Andrea goes on to share that you will be served pounds of crawfish (while the crawfish lasts!), or you can enjoy Hill & Holler’s regular menu which includes feisty fried shrimp, house-smoked wings, specialty pizzas and calzones, and wood fired sandwiches. Did we say served? We sure did, as Hill & Holler has switched up their service from counter ordering to full-service. Eat great food and relax as their friendly and knowledgeable servers take care of you at your table. And if you are so inclined, they still offer fast and efficient take-out services. Just pop in the front door to pick up your order, or give them a call and they will take it out to your vehicle!

Do you have your own favorite Bloody Mary recipe? Or do you not trust anyone but yourself to make your Bloody Mary? During the celebration, walk up to the Bloody Mary Bar and treat yourself to a tasty concoction filled with your choice of a plethora of accouterments. Because sometimes your bacon vodka Bloody Mary needs a Slim Jim instead of a celery stick and you don’t want to say that out loud. The Bloody Mary Bar will be set up every Sunday starting May 30th.

Hill & Holler is also very pleased to announce the christening of their new outdoor deck!

Just in time for summer, this is an expansion of their current deck and will afford extra seating for all you pizza connoisseurs, as well as a space for musicians and a gas fire pit for you and your family and friends to sit around in the evenings.

Also, this month at Hill & Holler, check out Seldom Free, who will play all your favorite acoustic tunes on First Friday, May 7th; and don’t miss multi-instrumentalist Patrick O’Flaherty every Thursday night, 4p-8pm. Raised in Galway’s Gaeltacht on the rugged west coast of Ireland, he plays several instruments and sings both Gaelic and English.

See you at the Pre-Memorial Day Crawfish Boil!

This is the only one of its kind in Lewisburg, where you can chow down on a plate of perfectly seasoned crawfish with all the fixins’. Laissez les bon temps rouler! Hill and Holler is located at 970 N. Jefferson St in downtown Lewisburg. For more info, visit them at hillandhollerpizza.com follow them on fb @HillandHoller or call 304-647-4429.
