Located just a few miles from Ace Adventure Resort is Charlies Pub

In the early 1900’s, Fayetteville was home to a bustling coal industry. Since booms often bust, what was once a town offering some of the highest-grade coal on the planet became an area of whitewater thrills. In 1968, the first commercial trip took off up the New River and Fayetteville became a destination for outdoor adventures.  Located just a few miles from Ace Adventure Resort is Charlies Pub. Established in 1988, this establishment is owned and operated by Ian Lutz.

Keeping Charlie’s dream alive…

We recommend taking a seat and enjoying the company of others. Ian tells us that he and his team are keeping Charlie’s dream alive. His goal is to make live music and comedy shows a fixture every week. He invites you to grab your crew and have a few drinks indoors or at their outdoor space. The menu currently offers gourmet ramen noodles, corn dogs, and microwave pork rinds. Ian says Emeril Lagassé helped them with this menu.

Make plans to visit on Saturday, November 14th for live music with Tom Batchelor and Fiddle Mike. This duo started playing together 4 years ago and they play everything from Reggae, Folk, Americana, Celtic and American fiddle music, gypsy jazz, and klezmer tunes. They regularly travel and play in Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Maryland.
