Oct 12-28: The Nightmare Awaits… at Miller’s Haunted Farm

With Halloween nearing, haunted adventures are all the rage. Ghouls and goblins emerge from hiatus, and weekends spent being chased around a corn maze by a chainsaw-wielding lunatic become the norm. These horrifying haunts are not for the faint of heart as they are brimming with scares that just might make you pee your pants. Miller’s Nightmare in Lewisburg is one of the scariest haunts in the area.

Gates open at 6:30pm on October 12-13, 19-20, and 26-28. Blending haunts with ghostly encounters, no expense is spared at this family-run attraction. Upon arrival, grab a bite with fresh pizza, funnel cakes, hot butterbeer, hot chocolate, and gourmet coffee. Enjoy s’mores over the fire-pit. There are plenty of games too including Clown Escape, a mini escape room that will twist your mind with unimaginable terrors. Then your nightmare awaits…

As darkness falls, take a step onto the mysterious Night Wagon. This transformed hay wagon will take you through the darkness along a backwoods West Virginia road. This is your only passage way to the haunted zone.

As the Night Wagon drops you off, you have arrived to your first destination. Since last year’s freaks and frights, a mysterious mansion has been discovered on the farm. This cryptic manor is 4,000 sq. feet and embodies dark hallways and oddities within its guts. It appears to be the source for the affliction affecting the corn field and nearby forest. You are invited to find out what lies within the walls of the Miller’s mysterious manor and continue the journey through the Infected Crop and Demented Forest.

Exiting the Manor, you are now trudging your way to the entrance of a corn field tainted with some unknown variant. Some say the site used to be used for chemical testing. Others believe it is a sacred Indian burial ground. You are in the Infected Crop and the inhabitants are known to be crazy, ghostly, possessed, or even dead.

If you make it out of the corn, be prepared to venture through the dimly lit paths of the abysmal darkness of the woods. In the Demented Forest, fear lies within. You must face your fears to return back to reality. Catch the night ride to return back.

Before you make the trip, be prepared and wear warm clothes. Wear shoes suitable enough to walk in the woods. No alcohol or bad behavior will be tolerated. The cost is $15/person or upgrade to a $25 fast pass, which allows you to skip all lines except food and games. Ages 5-10: $10. Children under 5 are free. On site ticket sales begin at 6:30p and are cut off at 10p. All patrons on site by 10p will be allowed admittance. For more information and directions, visit millersnightmare.com. Explore the heart-pounding haunted thrills that await at Miller’s Nightmare. You are sure to get in all your thrills at this adventure.  After all, what is more petrifying than a murderous clown? Nothing.
