Sunday, July 24: Flood Relief Benefit w/ 28 acts!

Devastating floods throughout central and southeastern West Virginia killed at least 23 people, destroyed 1,500 homes and damaged another 4,000.  It is also estimated that 125 businesses were destroyed.

12 counties were under a state of emergency including Clay, Fayette, Greenbrier, Jackson, Kanawha, Lincoln, Monroe, Nicholas, Pocahontas, Roane, Summers and Webster. The West Virginia Department of Transportation announced that flood-related road damage estimates, so far, top $36 million.

Flood victims NEED HELP getting their lives back together and the West Virginia Winter Music Festival (WVWMF) will host a Flood Relief Benefit on Sunday, July 24th, from 4pm-10pm throughout downtown Lewisburg, West Virginia. This benefit will include 28 music act across 5 locations:

  • The Greenspace: On the corner of Rt 60 & Washington Street (fountain)
  • The Asylum: 114 E. Randolph Street
  • Irish Pub: 1030 E. Washington Street
  • Hill & Holler: 204 N. Jefferson Street
  • Sweet Shoppe: 125 W. Washington Street

Admission is donate what you can. All donations go to musicians, music students, and their families in the Greenbrier County area who were impacted by the recent floods.

The West Virginia Winter Music Festival is a non profit 501(c)3 corporation. Its mission includes building an emergency fund that assists working musicians in unexpected times of financial stress, supporting educational projects and giving back to the community through various music performances.
