Owner, Tiffany Musak, moved to Lewisburg three years ago from a small town in Central New York. She and her family love it here and they’ve had a lot of positive feedback about opening an ice cream shop in downtown Lewisburg. Cakes & Cones opened its doors in September 2014 and since its inauguration, Tiffany tells us “the local community has been amazing! Everyone is so supportive, helpful, and kind. We are lucky to be able to be a part of it.”
The inspiration to open this shop was delivered by Tiffany’s 5 children. Seeing her kids growing up rapidly before her eyes, she and her husband felt that creating memories with them was very important. She says “We will all treasure the memories we make with our kids, and simple things like walking to the ice cream shop on summer nights will not only last in us as parents, but our kids will always remember the times we spent together as well.”
Ice cream is served in waffle cones, cake cones, cups, sundaes, sprinkles, hot fudge, banana splits, with cherries and/or whipped cream, along with a variety of candy toppings and milk shakes.
Besides ice cream, Tiffany makes homemade cupcakes, fudge brownies, an array of cookies and bars, cakes, pies, custom cakes, and delicious buttercream
If you are looking for a fun place to host your child’s birthday party, Tiffany offers many themed parties to choose from including tea parties, cake decorating parties, circus parties, dance parties, and others. She tells us that any character theme you choose is customizable to fit your needs. There’s also packages available from renting the space to an all-inclusive party, which provides a host, sandwiches, snacks, beverages, cake, and games.
Find a reason to smile with Cakes & Cones. They are open everyday from 12-8pm and located on S. Court Street (across from True Value) in downtown Lewisburg, WV. For more information, visit facebook.com/cakes.conesbakery.
