Looking for the next place to have your lunch meeting? Check out Food and Friends (F&F) in downtown Lewisburg. Established in 1985, this casual restaurant specializes in classic American cuisine and offers private booths, banquet rooms, wi-fi, and a complete menu sure to please any client.

Throughout the years, this family owned business has built a reputation of quality, service, and selection. They were also featured on the Food Network’s “The Best Of” television show. F&F started out as a small sandwich shop 28 years ago down the road where Wolf Creek Gallery (a specialty women’s shop) is now.

Great place for lunch. Traveling from NOVA to KY we stopped here and had a wonderful time. Great Sandwich selection and the shrimp corn chowder was amazing. – Mike O. via yelp.

Lunch sides include the sweet potato chips, beer battered fries, gourmet breaded onion rings, fresh garden salad, or soup of the day. For my lunch, I ordered a house salad with fresh veggies and blue cheese dressing and the Boardroom sandwich. It’s made with grilled Boar’s Head angus roast beef sautéed with onions, mushrooms, banana peppers, and Muenster cheese. And served on a French baguette with dijonnaise.

Other lunch sandwiches include the Muffuletta which is made of applewood-smoked ham and salami, the Cattleman with house smoked brisket, the Portobello Grille which has jumbo mushrooms, and so many more. If you’re interested in a lighter fare, try a salad such as the Sweet Bourbon Salmon with honey mustard dressing and capers. The lunch menu also offers vegetarian options, 8oz. fresh steak burgers on grilled Challah buns and a variety of pasta dishes.

One of the more popular restaurants in Lewisburg. And that’s for good reason. Fast seating, comfy table locations, well decorated, clean. Good variety on menu. Interestingly, most items are the same price. As of this writing, it’s $10.00. Service is great, food presentation & taste even better. Highly recommend! – Dan I. via yelp.

If you’re planning a date or friend night out, F&F features an excellent dinner menu including the Whiskey Ribeyes, Jumbo Scallops, Pecan Crusted Chicken, Mediterranean Pasta with Kalamata olives, and the list goes on. Find the complete menu at FoodandFriendsLewisburgWV.com. There’s also an all day kid’s menu, which offers chicken nuggets, pizza, lasagna, fish sticks, and a mac n cheese side.

This is a real find. If the proof is in the pudding a good hint can be found in the soup. The zucchini pepper soup was delicious. Brisket that melts in your mouth, fresh ingredients, simply wonderful. Don’t miss the yeast rolls. Terry our waitress confided that a lady comes in early to make them. All props to Doris for the bread pudding. – Stew S. via yelp.
