On Saturday, October 11th, the 30th Annual Taste of our Town, better known as TOOT is coming back to downtown Lewisburg with all the delectable delights one can ask for. This popular event draws over 10,000 people including locals and tourists from afar. Definitely a community effort, you will find a myriad of culinary choices and musical merriment! Fun for all, something for everyone. A great way to transition into the best season of the year, Autumn in Lewisburg!

Activities are spread throughout downtown and include face painting, kids’s games, inflatables and a climbing wall on Church Street, sand art, and pumpkin painting at the Greenspace.

Music and entertainment will also be dispersed in town. From the Lafayette Street Stage (near Wild Bean Coffee Shop) you will enjoy musical performances by Hans Creek Band, Davis and Elkins Appalachian Ensemble, and Butch & the Whitewalls. The Church Street Stage welcomes musicians’ John Wyatt and Robin & Doug. El Gleno Grande will entertain audiences with a stand up comedy routine on the corner of Court/Washington Street from 11-3pm. Carnegie Hall will feature the Greenbrier East Spartan Band, Choirs of Greenbrier East, Lewisburg Elementary 5th grade choir, Valley Dance Studio, and Cari Cohen Fire Dancing.
