SHOPPING: DISCOVER LOVE CHILD.

On April 2nd downtown Lewisburg energetically welcomed the opening of the brand new children’s store called Love <3 Child. This store is both an expansion and relocation of Wolf Creek Gallery’s children’s department, Do Si Do. This section was located on the second floor of Wolf Creek Gallery, a popular women’s clothing and accessories store. Moving the locale, owner Deva Wagner, also retired the Do Si Do name, thus creating a fresh identity at this new location.

Wolf Creek has been in business for 20 years this summer 2014 and this year also marks Do Si Do’s 15th year. Deva has wanted to move her children’s boutique to street level for several years and with the unfortunate closing of Honnahlee Toy Store this past January, and the Yarid family’s building on the market the timing was perfect to take action.

You may be asking, why Love Child? Deva describes her inspiration, “The name Love Child originated when a friend asked me what I think of when I think of children… love. I had really struggled with finding the perfect name and this is fitting in many ways,” – Deva Wagner. The name change will certainly be a fresh and positive step forward for the children store. Both area locals and visitors passing through our mountain paradise will be pleased for years to come.

You will find the same favorite brands that were available at Do Si Do. In addition, you’ll have much more variety in styles, sizes (ages infant to 8 years) and baby gear. There’s also a generous section of educational and environmentally friendly toys.

“Love Child is exactly what Lewisburg needed. The clothes are absolutely
adorable and my daughter loves to play in the store! We feel so lucky to have
this new addition”
– Shannon Rausenberger, Lewisburg, WV.

Clothing lines include Zutano and Le Top, etc. You can also find popular toys from Melissa and Doug, Plan Toys, Manhattan Toys, Calico Critters and many more.

They offer birthday wish lists, baby gift registry and complementary gift wrapping. They plan to offer special events in the future during Lewisburg First Friday after 5pm and other downtown events.

“Love Child is such a fun store! Its vibrant and inviting atmosphere makes you happy as soon as you walk through the door. There is a wonderful variety of merchandise, so it’s easy to find the perfect gift or discover your child’s new favorite toy. The warm and helpful staff makes this shop an ideal stop in downtown Lewisburg,” – Sarah R. Staunton

Customer feedback has always been important for Deva. She encourages you to let her know what you would like to see in the new shop. She will grown the product line as needed. Deva is not only a smart and savvy businesswoman with an eye for merchandising, but she has a lot of love for Lewisburg. She shows this daily by meeting area needs and delivering great products through her retail outlets. Traveling to clothing and toy fairs regularly, Deva will make sure to bring back the best ideas so that Love Child is ever evolving. Check the store often as new merchandise will be showing up regularly.
