On Tuesday, December 17th, check out international singer/songwriter Joti Gore in a Christmas performance called “Home for the Holidays, A Soulful Concert” at Greenrbrier Valley Theatre (GVT) in downtown Lewisburg, WV.

This is a show you’re sure to enjoy as Gore is a highly talented singer. He’s performed at the Sydney Opera House, Carnegie Hall, Fox Studios, Melbourne Recital Hall, was Guest Solo Artist at the Mill Valley Film Festival, and performed at the Tivoli Jazz Festival Copenhagen Denmark. In addition to music, Gore is an actor who has been on many stages around the world.

On the 17th, you’ll enjoy watching Gore sing songs from a range of musical styles, including Gospel, Christian, Jazz, Classical, Contemporary, and Musical Theatre. He’ll be accompanied by Kermit Medsker, Musical Director of GVT, who also directs the concert. Medsker has a long history with GVT, having first acted with the theatre in a 1992 production of The Boys Next Door in the theatre’s former tent location. As music director, his GVT credits include Tintypes, The Greenbrier Ghost, 1940s Radio Hour, and most recently Dracula: A Rock Opera. He is appearing this month in It’s a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play. (See LBSPY #48 Agenda for showtimes)

Gore requests that audience members for his concert bring an unwrapped toy to the concert to be donated to those in need this holiday season. (We think you can find the perfect toy at Lewisburg’s very own specialty toy store, Honnahlee!!! See page 8).

General admission price for this concert is $15. For tickets or more information, call the GVT Box Office at 304-645-3838. Article source: Greenbrier Valley Theatre. Joti Gore photo source: gvtheatre.wordpress.com
