On Saturday, September 28th, check out an event that has been rated as THE FESTIVAL in West Virginia by Parade Magazine. The Roadkill Cookoff, now in its 21st year, has been featured on the Food Channel and Travel Channel. You may experience something entirely new as “anything goes” in all dishes so long as the main ingredient is an animal commonly found along the road. Cooking begins at 11am and judging starts at 1pm by a panel of celebrity judges.

Live music will be performed by Viney Moutain Boys, Stoney Bottom Bluegrass Band, Young and Restless Pickers, and Jake Krack and the Bing Brothers. There will also be a dog show, the possum trot 5k/walk, High Rocks Fundraiser, performance by cloggers, games, and more.
