I’m not sure what life event causes someone to become wary of the world but I suspect it’s very draining to live that way. Always seeking clues for motives that don’t exist is a relentlessly disappointing endeavor. In the end, no one wants to be a person of interest in a paranoid person’s life—I suspect.
