February is here, bringing a fresh burst of energy to brighten our winter months. Sure, it’s cold outside, but there’s plenty happening in the Greenbrier Valley and beyond to keep things feeling lively.
This month’s cover story introduces Rob Meyer-Kukan and the inspiring journey behind opening 7 Notes Natural Health, a space where healing and harmony come together in a distinctive way. Through sound therapy and a holistic approach to wellness, Rob offers people the opportunity to not only support their physical health, but also connect on a deeper, more balanced level.
Music lovers won’t want to miss Nothing Noble as they bring their dynamic energy, and maybe a few of their favorite beverages, to the stage. If you haven’t seen them perform yet, February is a great time to catch one of their shows.
For those interested in history and culture, Dave Briggs, docent at the North House Museum, offers a thought-provoking look at the lives of Anthony and Fanny Carter. The Genealogy Group also meets in Lewisburg this month, helping participants dig deeper into their roots. In honor of Black History Month, there will be additional opportunities to learn through a special lecture and an immersive presentation.
If you’re eager for signs of spring, good news. The Winter Wake-Up Walk in downtown Lewisburg offers an early glimpse of the season, with buds beginning to emerge on some of our local trees. For those longing for longer days and warmer weather, it’s a small preview of what’s ahead. You can find even more springtime inspiration at the 2026 Members Show: Dreaming of Spring at the Alderson Artisans Gallery, where members share their visions for the season to come.
Of course, there are also plenty of live shows to enjoy this month. Don’t miss Guys & Dolls Sr. at GVT or the fun and hilarious 3 Redneck Tenors at Carnegie. And with Valentine’s Day just around the corner, whether you’re celebrating with a partner, friends, or simply treating yourself, it’s a good reminder to lean into what makes you happy. For a truly unique outing, be sure to check out the Big Spring Farm Valentine’s Light Show.
So bundle up, get out there, and make the most of this short but eventful month. Maybe that means catching some local arts and culture, leaning into the cold with an outdoor adventure, or starting to dream about warmer days ahead. Either way, The Agenda has plenty to explore.
Until next time, stay warm and have a great February!
