When the days feel a little too gray and the chill settles in, Williamsburg knows exactly how to warm up the season: the Williamsburg Winter Carnival is back and ready to bring some joy to the last weekend of January! “We do this for the kids after Christmas because winter’s just so dreary, and we want the community and other communities to come together and just have a good time,” said Jennifer Clutter, president of the carnival.
Happening Saturday, January 31, 2026 from 3:00 to 6:00 PM at the Williamsburg Community Building, this beloved community event is packed with classic carnival games, winter-themed contests, family favorites, and plenty of good food to keep everyone smiling.
Games (10 cents each!)
Try your luck, test your aim, or let the kids loose on their favorites: Snowflake Lake, Jailhouse, Cornhole, Ax Throwing, Dart Balloons, Connect 4, Mini Golf, Basketball, Cornhole, Plinko, and a Bouncy House (5 years & Under).
Contests
Bring the winter magic to life with the Snowman Costume Contest, or dress up as anything to do with winter. There will be prizes, so get creative!
Activities
Guess Cake, Cake Walks, Door Prizes, Gift Certificates, 50/50 Drawing, and the Snowflake Guess will keep the fun going all evening long.

Fuel the festivities with: Pizza, Corn Dogs, Nachos, Funnel Cakes, Popcorn, Sno Cones, Hot Chocolate, Soda & Water (Food Provided by Williamsburg Community Action)
