For Your Consideration: The Remarkable Path of Leah Stansell

When Leah Stansell was just 13 years old, doctors told her she would never walk again. After a traumatic spinal injury, the prognosis was grim…until one night, in the quiet stillness of recovery, she says she was visited by an angel.

“You will walk again,” he told her. “And we are giving you spiritual gifts. When you are older, you can help people.”

Decades later, Leah has not only walked again, she has walked a path few could have predicted. A paranormal investigator, intuitive healer, author, and spiritual teacher, Leah has dedicated her life to helping others with compassion, clarity, and a deep love for humanity. At the heart of all her work is a simple yet profound belief: we are all one.

“We’re all God’s kids, we’re all connected,” she says. “That’s what this is all about.”

Leah has supported law enforcement in missing persons cases, led numerous investigations into unexplained activity, and offered guidance and spiritual care to individuals throughout the region. Though her work often touches the metaphysical, her presence is anything but airy. Leah is known for her grounded, straightforward approach.

“I’ll never try to convince you of anything,” she says. “And I still love you if you don’t agree.”

Her book, Gypsy E.T., shares her story and perspective: part autobiography, part spiritual reflection, and part invitation. For those curious about energy, intuition, or the unseen world around us, Leah offers her insights gently and openly: for your consideration. The book is available now on Amazon.

Monthly Classes in Glace

Each month, Leah hosts a small group gathering at her home in Glace, West Virginia. Her Diversified Classes blend learning, community, and spiritual exploration, and are held on the second Saturday of each month from 2:00–4:30 PM.

The next class, scheduled for July 12, will focus on Prayer and Meditation. A suggested donation of $12 helps support the experience, and all are welcome regardless of background or prior experience.

Please note: while Leah welcomes participants to her classes and events, the Stansell property is not open to the public and visits are by invitation only. Registration at least three days in advance is appreciated so Leah can plan for group size. To register, email stansellwv@protonmail.com or call 304-536-3576.

Upcoming Conference: “Energy: Seeing Through the Illusion”

On September 27, 2025, Leah will host a full-day outdoor conference on the Stansell property in Glace from 10 AM to 5:30 PM, with a lunch break. This year’s theme is:

Energy: Seeing Through the Illusion

The event will feature four insightful guest speakers:

  • Angie Shockley – Shamanic Practitioner
  • Dr. Samantha van der Heydt – Acupuncturist
  • Linda Schaever-Mills – Yoga Therapist
  • Virginia Drake – Energy Adept

Guests are encouraged to bring a packed lunch, as the property is remote and dining options are limited. Water and a light dessert will be provided, and the event will be covered in case of rain.

Cost is $65 with pre-registration by August 31, or $75 at the door. To register or learn more, contact Leah at 304-536-3576 or Carol at 484-459-3810.

As Leah always says: for your consideration.
