1. How would you describe your palette?
I am a product of my environment and just like seasons change, so does my palette.

2. What’s your greatest accomplishment?
I’ve been featured in multiple publications and some documentaries and music videos for my creativity, from my cooking to my artwork. I have two degrees in art and computer coding, in which I graduated top of my class. I have worked with amazing artists on multiple projects and I am very proud of those accomplishments and experiences. The one that sticks out the most has to be the work I did with the City of Orlando and the “Beautify Orlando” Project. It was a non-profit project in which artists painted trash dumpsters, electrical boxes, newspaper kiosks, and walls on run-down buildings in an attempt to bring culture and art to dreary city streets. It was very self-fulfilling and I am all about giving back to my community using my unique style and ideas to bring joy to other people’s lives.

3. What obstacles do you need to overcome to find your creative space/muse?
I am constantly in a state of “writers block” or lack of inspiration. Some ideas I have take years to be developed due to my sense of personal perfection and detail. I do not like to force inspiration or push creativity.

4. How do you find your inspiration?
I am always inspired by the masses. The information that is constantly flying around our world keeps my head spinning and creativity flowing.

5. What advice do you have for other artists?
My best advice would be to find your style. It took me years before I found my personal style and embraced it. This is what led to my confidence in my work and my success in the art world.

6. How can our readers reach out to you?
I am always willing to teach and create with those around me. From free art projects to commercial contracts I am always willing to donate my time to make, create, and inspire. DM me on Instagram @jeanclaudevandan or email me at d.perry2@yahoo.com.
