Life Lessons Learned From being around Misguided People.

Wisdom from the Woods –Life lessons learned from being around misguided people.

There aren’t many places in West Virginia that scare me. Doesn’t mean I shouldn’t be frightened. Going off the beaten path makes for a good story. The movie “Wrong Turn” takes place in “Greenbrier backcountry, West Virginia”. Some pretty weird stuff happens here, but I’ve yet to encounter a clan of mutant hillbillies hell-bent on terrorizing lost travelers. Then again, I’m not a tourist and I generally know where I’m going. That’s not to say I haven’t made wrong turns. But I drive a Jeep; I can always make a trail back in the right direction. We all make wrong turns. Whether it’s a relationship, transgression or cock-and-bull story concocted to cover our staggering missteps; you start out knowing where you’re going and end up stuck in a rut. You drive farther and farther up a narrow road with no place to turn. You can’t backpedal, so you keep moving forward in the wrong direction. Before you set off and find yourself lost, start on a trail you can trust. Make sure you’re able to change course, when necessary, and leave yourself plenty of room to get back on track. Otherwise, you’ll find yourself in a frighteningly unpleasant situation you might not be able to escape.
