Do you have a photo that showcases the natural beauty of the Greenbrier Valley, WV? Or do you have a photo that captures the excitement and fun of a local event or place? Share it with the Greenbrier Valley Visitor’s Center this January for a chance to have your photo showcased in the 2016 Visitor’s Guide and win a basket full of local prizes! It’s easy to participate. Simply post your photo(s) to facebook, instagram, or twitter and in the caption write #GBValley.

If you plan to enter this contest, you must set your social channel to public. There is no purchase necessary to enter or win this contest. You must submit your entry by January 15, 2016 to be considered in this contest. The winner will receive Greenbrier County CVB merchandise, with a maximum value of $100. Your prize must be redeemed in 2016 calendar year or as otherwise indicated on the certificate or coupon.

Greenbrier Valley Photo Contest

The Greenbrier County CVB will judge the photos based on their creativity and originality. The collection of photos to the left are for your inspiration! They include Jim’s Drive-In (above, top right) and fly fishing instruction with Craig Miller at Serenity Now Outfitters (above, bottom right). All decisions by the judges are final. The winner will be notified within 5 days after the determination date. Inability to contact a winner with 15 days may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner. The winner will be asked to participate in a short interview about the creation of their photo. Also, the interview will be featured, alongside the photo, in the 2016 Official Visitor’s Guide to the Greenbrier Valley.

This contest is open only to legal U.S. residents, over the age of 18 years old. Employees of Greenbrier County CVB (along with its contractors, affiliates and subsidiaries) and their families are not eligible to win. Void where prohibited by law. Contestants residing in those areas where the contest is void may participate in the contest but may not win any prizes.

The visitor’s center is seeking shots that demonstrate the spirit of the valley for their 2016 Visitor’s Guide. This contest is a way to collect beautiful images that entice prospective visitors. There is no limit to the number of images you can submit, so get out there and start taking photos!
