WHY THE FARM LIKES EM: The sound of these Carolina’ boys has the power to transport us to the river, the mountains, the ocean, the Bayou and back to the mountains again all in one single show. We like that sort of thing.

FRIDAY, SEPT 8:

BIG MAMA SHAKES

WHY THE FARM LIKES EM’: The fresh, Southern Americana Rock sounds of Big Mama Shakes, is likable and fun, and it makes us feel nostalgic. Their commanding stage presence and originality is a reminder of the Rock Stars of yore, and that Rock Stars still exist in 2017. Influenced by Springsteen, Muddy Waters, Van Morrison and CCR, these boys have carved out a unique niche in the modern Rock n’ Roll genre.

CHECK THEM OUT IF YOU LIKE: Classic Rock, Traditional Country, Singing in the Shower, Sipping a “Cold One” After Work, Cant Help But Look Twice When You See a “Vintage” Car From the 70’s & Still Love Those Worn Out Jeans You’ve Had for Over 15 Years.

WHY YOU SHOULD SEE THEM: This Nationally Touring Americana Rock Band out of Richmond, VA, was one of the 2017 Homecoming Fest “Fan Favorites,” and are well on their way to THE BIG TIME. Fans won’t have too many of these intimate opportunities to catch them before they’re shelling out the big bucks and watching them on a jumbo-tron.
