Have a blarney blast this St. Patrick’s Day (Tuesday, March 17th) with contemporary edge and a fresh sound to Celtic music with The Celtic Tenors. Whether playing a neighborhood cathedral or major concert hall in an international city, audience members are assured a professional, sparkling, and most of all, good humored performance. With a polished international reputation and just over a million album sales under their belts, The Celtic Tenors offer something truly unique. Group members: James Nelson, Matthew Gilsenan, and Daryl Simpson have established themselves as the most successful classical crossover artists ever to emerge from Ireland. What’s not to love?

“Had a great and perfect night with The Celtic Tenors in Veghel! Great music and humor! Thanks guys!” – Kim van der Stappen, via facebook.

This group genuinely loves what they do and you’ll see that shine through in each rendition of beautiful Celtic songs like the haunting Danny Boy and exhilarating classics like Nessun Dorma. They are also the only tenor group with a truly global audience and will give you a night to remember. Don’t miss this performance by world-class artists. You’ll enjoy an evening to savour and a night with tenors who despite their incredible success don’t take themselves too seriously! Find this group online at celtic-tenors.com. Show starts at 7:30pm at Carnegie Hall in Lewisburg. To purchase tickets, call 304-645-7917 and/or visit carnegiehallwv.com.

“We enjoyed your magnificent performance tonight at Overpelt – Belgium! Bought your
X-mas CD cause we enjoyed your music so much! Congratulations, hope to see you again!” – Lut Kuppens, via facebook.

After the concert, check out the local downtown nightlife at the Sweet Shoppe, Del Sol, Irish Pub, and the Asylum. The pub will have traditional Celtic music by Patrick O’Flaherty and Brendan Sheridan. They’ll also host their annual “World’s Shortest St. Patrick’s Day Parade” at 6:30pm, and possibly have an Irish food special. Sheridan performs at the pub from the 17th until the 23rd. Also, save the date for The Poor Clares performing at the pub on Friday, April 10th at 7:30pm. This band made their debut at the New Orleans Jazz Fest and were hailed by B97 radio as “the surprise hit of the fest.” They have been playing around the country to rave reviews ever since to include the Milwaukee Irish Festival which is the largest Irish Festival in the country.

Gather your loved one(s) this St. Patrick’s Day and enjoy a fun time out of shamrockin’ the night away.
