If you’re looking for a fun night out to sing and dance, look no further because SoCo is coming to us from Staunton, VA. They will be performing at Wild Bill’s Roadhouse in White Sulphur Springs on Saturday, March 2nd. Since 1992, this 5-piece high energy party band plays everything from classic rock, new rock, kickin’ country, to dance music. Not only do they play a wide variety of music, they also cater to any crowd. They’ll play what you want to hear and every show is accompany it with L.E.D. lighting to enhance the concert experience. SoCo is known for being down to earth with the crowd. They make their concerts into a fun party and invite people to come on stage and sing.

“We love Wild Bill’s big stage, large dance floor, and Stuart is a great person to work with,” – SoCo Band

This is a group of professional road musicians that covers songs from classic rock, 80’s hair bands, and 90’s rock: ACDC, Jason Aldean, Aerosmith, Alice Cooper, Blackfoot, Blue Brothers, Boston, Foreigner, Garth Brooks, Guns n Roses, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Poison, Tim McGraw, Zac Brown are some of the bands SoCo covers. What does SoCo love about Wild Bill’s Roadhouse? They’ll tell you…“We love Wild Bill’s big stage, large dance floor, and Stuart is a great person to work with. Having been a musician himself, Stuart knows how to take care of the bands and he provides them with the atmosphere needed to put on a rockin’ showcase gig. Of course, people always come to party SoCo style!!” – SoCo. SoCo is scheduled to play at Wild Bill’s every 4-6 weeks.

“While performing at Wild Bill’s, one of the members stayed with us in the crowd as much as on stage. We were invited to sing and come up on stage and dance and we felt like members of the band. Was a fun night, can’t wait for SoCo to come back!” – Craig M.

If you’re wondering what SoCo means, it’s short for Southern Company. When the band first came onto the scene in 1992, they had a saying and it was, “There’s no company like Southern Company”. In 2002, they shortened their name to SoCo.

No show is too big or too small for Soco. They play clubs, outdoor festivals, and national events. You can find the list of national acts that they’ve toured on their website. They do a lot of benefits and festivals each year. Their favorite festival is called, Shakin at the Station. This event is held in their hometown of Staunton every summer. Every Thursday night, from May through August, thousands of people come together in the wharf part of downtown Staunton to hear live music. Proceeds from each event goes to a different charity. SoCo is scheduled to play Shakin at the Station on Thursday, June 13th. You can also find SoCo at Harrisonburg, VA’s Funfest Festival on July 17th and Lynchburg, VA’s Southbound Jamboree Festival on August 17th.

Check out SoCo at Wild Bill’s on March 2 and tell ‘em LBSPY sent you. If you really like them, they may just invite you into their “flock.” Flock is a name SoCo calls their dedicated followers. They have a facebook “flock” page with over 2,600 members and fans stay updated with up to the minute event dates and band activity.
