Davis Stuart is holding a benefit on Sunday, December 11th in downtown Lewisburg. It’s called Last Chance Jewelry Trunk Show featuring local jewerly artisan, Alan Anderson. This event will serve complimentary refreshments and is held beside Greenbrier Valley Theatre at the Open Book’s former location, from 5pm-8pm.

Anderson creates one-of-kind jewelery pieces which will make your holiday gifts memorable for years to come. He has been in the consulting and design business for more than 35 years and worked as Director of Corporate Services and Design for Barneys of New York in Beverly Hills, CA. There, he worked with top designers in the Los Angeles area. At the corporate level, he worked with major movie studios: Columbia Tristar, Paramount, and Warner Brothers. On a personal level, he has consulted: Mary Tyler Moore, Sally Fields, Kelsey Grammar, Steve Martin, Billy Crystal, and Dustin Hoffman, to name a few. He has visually merchandised retail stores included: Hermes, Mark Cross, Ferragamo, and more recently, The Front Porch in Lewisburg, WV.

As an artist, Anderson has been creating pieces from re-purposed vintage jewelry for the past 35 years. Now pleased to be part of the Lewisburg community, his work has been shown at The Greenbrier since 2001. He has been featured with the Best of West Virginia artists at Tamarack, and has been a featured artist both in an article written by Carlton Varney in the Palm Beach Daily, and in 2013 spring issue of the Greenbrier Valley Quarterly.
